Natural Wooden Cat Whelping Box & Kitten Playpen with Latch Gate

A Safe Haven for Tiny Paws' First Steps, a Peaceful Sanctuary for Mother Cats

Welcoming newborn kittens into the world is one of the most tender, memorable moments you can experience. Yet the worry of tiny explorers getting lost around the house, paired with a nursing mother's need for a calm, secluded den, can make this special phase overwhelming. This Natural Wooden Kitten Playpen & Birthing Pen provides mother cats and their litters with a spacious, airy, and secure territory.

Unlike cold wire cages or fragile fabric pens, it introduces warm, Scandinavian wooden craftsmanship to your living space while ensuring kittens grow up safely right beside their mother.

Why It Is Ideal for You and Your Pet Family

• Generous 120 cm Interior Volume: A spacious 115 x 55 cm usable floor area allows a mother cat to nurse comfortably while leaving ample room for a bed, food and water bowls, and a compact litter tray.

• Lockable Wide Access Gate: The 45 cm wide hinged wooden door with a sturdy metal sliding latch makes daily cleaning, feeding, and checking on the kittens effortless. Fasten the latch securely to prevent adventurous kittens from wandering out unsupervised.

• Safe Slat Spacing & Enclosed Walls: Closely spaced vertical slats prevent curious heads from getting stuck while promoting optimal airflow and clear visibility. The 55 cm wall height keeps growing kittens safely contained.

• Sheltered Solid Rear Panels: Solid wooden rear and side panels give the nursing mother a protected corner where she feels tucked away from sudden drafts and ambient activity.

• Open-Top Accessibility: The fully open ceiling allows you to watch over the litter from across the room and reach in easily whenever you want to hold them.

• Non-Toxic, Pet-Safe Natural Wood: Crafted from smooth, splinter-free natural light wood without harsh chemical odors or synthetic coatings. Completely gentle on delicate paws.

• Customizable Flooring: Sold without a mattress, giving you full freedom to line the base with washable pee pads, soft fleece blankets, or your choice of cozy pet beds.
