2. Sales Structure & Operational Models

Kayzen Wood operates under two distinct commercial channels. The applicable legal terms, payment schedules, and cancellation rights depend directly on whether you purchase custom architectural projects or standard online products:

SECTION A: Custom Architectural & Tailored Wooden Projects

This section governs all custom-made, bespoke, and millimetric installations including kitchens, interior/exterior doors, hardwood flooring, wardrobes, laundry cabinets, staircases, bathroom vanities, and custom furniture.

Mandatory Contractual Process & Payment Schedule for Custom Projects:
  • Step 1: On-Site Measurement & Consultation: Initial project scoping is arranged via mobile/online communication followed by an on-site technical measurement appointment.
  • Step 2: Quotation & 40% First Advance Payment: Following measurement, a formal binding quotation is provided. Upon customer acceptance, a 40% initial deposit is required to initiate manufacturing and raw material selection.
  • Step 3: Manufacturing & Inspection: Products are handcrafted in small batches. Once manufacturing is completed, the customer inspects the products either physically at our workshop or via comprehensive digital/online verification.
  • Step 4: Approval & 40% Pre-Installation Payment: Upon customer approval of the completed products, an additional 40% payment must be settled prior to dispatch and on-site assembly.
  • Step 5: Installation & Final 20% Balance Payment: On-site fitting and installation are performed by our team. The final 20% balance payment is due immediately upon completed installation and final handover.

Legal Exception regarding Custom Orders: Pursuant to Article 16(c) of EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Belgian Consumer Law, the right of withdrawal/cancellation does not apply to custom-made or personalized goods tailored to specific measurements.

SECTION B: Standard Online Products

This section governs standard off-the-shelf retail products ordered directly through our e-commerce platform (such as standard wooden lamps, table lighting, and ready-made accessories).

Standard online purchases are processed with full immediate payment at checkout. Consumers purchasing standard non-customized products benefit from the statutory 14-day European right of withdrawal from the date of physical delivery.

Unless otherwise stated, all content on this website—including text, photographs, product renderings, custom architectural designs, logos, graphics, and video materials—is the exclusive property of Kayzen Wood and protected by applicable Belgian, European, and international copyright and intellectual property laws.

Any reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial exploitation of any material on this website without prior written consent from Kayzen Wood is strictly prohibited.

4. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

This website, its terms, and all contracts entered into with Kayzen Wood are governed exclusively by Belgian Law. In the event of any dispute arising from or related to the use of this website or contractual projects, the exclusive jurisdiction shall rest with the competent courts of Antwerp, Belgium.
